Loving Jesus and serving God's people in the heart of Anchorage

Our service and outreach programs help us serve our community and world while sharing the love of Christ.   We prepare meals each month for the Clare House and Brother Francis shelters; help build houses with Habitat for Humanity; support missions in Wales, Alaska, Indonesia, Mexico and Liberia; make and distribute hundreds of hats, mittens and gloves each Christmas; fill emergency food kits and Easter baskets; collect and help distribute thousands of pounds of food for Lutheran Social Services and so much more!  And in September we "hit the streets" for a day of community service God's Work-Our Hands.

Faith Formation

Our youth and adult discipleship programs help us learn to navigate life and grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.  Adult Bible classes are held on Sunday mornings (September-May) and at various times midweek.  Children's Church is offered each Sunday morning concurrent with our morning worship.  Join us the first Friday of each month for an inter-generational time of fun and learning called First Friday Faith, Family, Fun nights. Families of all shapes and sizes enjoy a meal together followed by hands-on learning centers around a single theme.  Confirmation for Jr. High students and new member classes are also held in the Fall and Spring.
